Have concessionaries been relegated to the underclass?

• I’VE just spent 45 minutes trying to call Swiss Cottage Leisure Centre to book a class, without luck.
I’ve been using Swiss Cottage, Mornington Crescent and Oasis centres for the past six years and now find it near impossible to book a place on a class.
What is even more infuriating is the fact that members used to be able to book online. That service was removed at the start of the year for an upgrade and has since been restored, but only for those who pay high membership fees.
People on concessionary rates still can’t book online and can rarely get through on the phone to book classes – if they do mostly it’s to hear that that class is full.
Then they are offered a place on the waiting list, which means you have to turn up for a class in kit and wait until 10 minutes into the class, to see if someone who has booked has not arrived.
Then they may be given a place (albeit interrupting the rest of the class part way through – not very conducive for yoga or classes that incorporate relaxation).
I can’t be the only one Greenwich Leisure Limited (GLL)’s booking system isn’t working for its classes are massively oversubscribed and they have made concessionary members underclass members.
