Graffiti goes

Published: 17th March, 2011

• THAT ridiculous and illegal large example of graffiti on the roof of Lulworth flats, in Camden Town, has gone and I write to thank the council for their positive action to remove this eyesore.

Indeed it is time to record the good work of the council’s excellent teams, who cheerfully and expertly clean up after the graffiti louts have done their worst.

We need to do a lot more ourselves to clean up our streets, land, shop frontages and garden areas but, meanwhile,

I salute the work of the officers who fight against the tide of rubbish, litter and vandalism we carelessly allow to blight our environment. It time of year for spring cleaning – let’s start.
