Fitzrovia fears over empty property

• REGARDLESS of the wealth of our new neighbour, the recent invasion of the property in Fitzroy Square (Guy Ritchie’s squatters get both barrels! February 18) was completely wrong, especially since almost everyone in Fitzrovia was well aware the owner was not living in the property at the time because it was undergoing an extensive renovation (and builders were regularly seen). 

Many hard working and ordinary Fitzrovia residents now fear leaving their properties empty, even to go away at the weekend. Consequently this sets a very dangerous precedent.
