There’s a limit to what we should pay

• CONCERNING your front page report (Dad of eight in benefit plight cap home plight, May 27), the simple answer is do not have eight children.

No one can see what the future may bring with a global crisis. Will the taxpayer, already hit hard, have to pay the tab for the family.  

On top of this there will be child benefit, child tax credit, free school meals no rent, no council tax etcetera. 

The list is almost endless. I suggested to my MP two or three years ago that the state (taxpayers) should give help, like that above, to a maximum of three children.
