It’s all about couples being responsible

ACCORDING to Paul Dimoldenberg (Homes fit for families? June 17) it is the council’s fault that a couple with four sons are confined to a two-bedroom flat.  

To me that this is a case of the couple’s behaving irresponsibly in choosing to have so many children. Had they had just two they would be living comfortably and their children would be better off. Many couples have to move out of central London  before they have children. 

Cllr Dimoldenberg refers scathingly to the council’s suggestion of “space-saving furniture” and “a stacking-system for beds”. 

Has he not heard of bunk beds?
