How green is centre?

• THE proposed Energy Centre and Heat Network in Bunhill will put us at the mercy of Russian gas.  

Whatever Islington Council says, this energy centre will be unsustainable. It has a built-in obsolescence as fossil fuels are due to run out.  

The consultation process must be flawed as the council is already installing pipework. It appears the consultation is stacked against objectors. 

This was an opportunity to create something truly sustainable and green. This project contradicts the council’s green philosophy as stated on its website.
