A hole in the heart of the Big Society

• THE government has said that “Big Society” means taking power from politicians and giving it to the people. 

This is a cover up for huge spending cuts that are reckless and cut too deeply and too quickly. It will enable government to relinquish responsibilities, create class warfare and, when the volunteering fails, blame the community. And the BS ideology discriminates against those in deprived neighbourhoods, helping the rich to get richer but the poor to get poorer.
