Foxes don’t eat kids do they?

Published: 9 June, 2011

• THERE are so many humane ways of deterring foxes from your garden if you so wish (Cruelty claim as resident arranges fox shootings, June 2).

The fox’s natural habitat in the countryside is being encroached at an alarming rate, not to mention those who still want to hunt them with hounds. Small wonder they end up in urban areas. Now they have a resident hassling them. The foxes’ “crime”? Digging up his stupid garden.

And what’s this nonsense about foxes living so close he’s worried about hygiene? There has never been one recorded case of a human catching anything from a fox. What’s this garbage he was mentioning about foxes near a primary school?

Is he insinuating that foxes will gobble up children?
