Costly TV

• I AGREE with Clem Alford’s comments (Digital TV challenge, Letters, June 16) concerning the Integrated Reception System.

I too am concerned with regards to the unnecessary costs of this proposed installation by Camden Council. 

These proposals are totally unreasonable in terms of cost and maintenance as well as the quantity of channels that will be catered for which not all residents will want but will be obliged to pay for.

Surely this should be a matter of individual choice and funding.
