Best thing is to resign

• AS Councillor Barbara Sidnell was on the council executive she should have been setting a good example (Expenses probe councillor steps down, May 27). She should have known the position after all her years as a councillor.

I hope there will be a thorough investigation. The best thing would be for her to resign. Others in other boroughs have had to do so for far less.
