Operation Target boosts efforts against anti-social behaviour

Published: July 28, 2011

I WOULD thank and congratulate Camden police and their colleagues from the Met for their successful operation at Queen’s Crescent last week.

Operation Target supports the ongoing partnership work between Camden police and the council to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour in the borough.

By sending out a clear message that drug dealing and crime will not be tolerated we are helping to give the streets back to the community.

Council officers will continue to work closely with the police to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour, by targeting those areas of the greatest need. We will continue to provide resources such as community wardens, and work with young people to address serious youth violence. Residents can help us by reporting any anti-social behaviour or crime in their area to their local police Safer Neighbourhoods Team.

By working together we can help make the borough even safer.
Cllr ABdul Hai
Cabinet Member for Community Safety
