Just too bulky?

• IT was astonishing to see the artist’s impression of the proposed mammoth-sized monument to Bomber Command in The Green Park. 

The monument could not be expected to be self-effacing, commemorating as it does heroic events. But hasn’t the bulk of it gone just too far?
