• I THOUGHT editor Eric Gordon’s piece on the demise of the News of the World was excellent.  

I liked his linking it  to the demise of the Camden Gazette and the loss of these two papers as a symptom of everything that is wrong with national and international press today.

The New Journal is an excellent local paper, intelligent, ranging widely over local events, politics, arts, promoting local theatres and restaurants, and not afraid to be polemical when necessary.
