Give youth a chance

AN isolated young mum is undertaking her first training course, a teenage refugee has secured a carpentry apprenticeship and a withdrawn teen now has the confidence to fulfil her dream of being a midwife. These are just three of the young people living in Islington who have had the support, wisdom and experience of a mentor to help them lead fulfilling lives.

The RSVP Grandmentor project matches young people not in education, employment or training with volunteers aged 50 plus. Why not become a Grandmentor.
