In work now

Published: 20 January, 2011

• I AM a dad of 28 and have lived in Kentish Town with my wife and two sons since 2006 and all my life before then; we both work.

With a mortgage and life’s essentials, we rely heavily on Camden’s play service which allows us to contribute by keeping up modest jobs. I would favour a rise in council tax to avoid people like me or my wife ending up on the dole in order to provide day-care for our sons. Think outside the box when analysing the risks of not raising council tax to pay for front-line services earmarked for the chop.
