Tenants’ five-day freeze

• THE unacceptable breakdown of heating at the Brunswick Centre highlighted in the report (Tenants left freezing as heating breaks down, January 13) was all the worse not only for failing during January but also soon after an expensive new system was installed relatively recently. 

Sadly the breakdown lasted longer than the three days you reported – up to five days for some residents.

We have asked Camden Council for a full explanation of what went wrong and an outline explaining what steps are being taken to ensure that it will not happen again.

As ever, we remain keen for residents to let us know of any issues such as this that affect Bloomsbury ward.
