Were these election lies?

• PRIOR to the last local government election one of the Labour candidates for our ward assured me that it was the party’s policy to retain the Town Hall Annexe and the much-loved, much-used St Pancras Library.  

Now we know the truth of their intentions, to demolish a perfectly adequate building and build themselves a new town hall. At time when services to children, the elderly and other vulnerable residents are being cut, this is just madness.
