Value to the community

• REGARDING the threat to Great Croft and Henderson Court centres, at the former I played for a birthday party one afternoon last autumn.

That occasion alone made it very evident that these centres are performing an invaluable function in the community.

My sympathies for any borough council facing big cuts is very considerable.

But I cannot agree with Camden Council for trying to absolve themselves from blame by spending £150,000 on bus stop advertisement to this effect.

This money should have been spent on Great Croft and Henderson Court.
