Celebrities!

• I WAS shocked to read the news item about Samantha Cameron (February 17). 

As usual we have lots of politicians that grace our borough for votes and Mrs Cameron was no exception.

However now that we need her support she is nowhere to be seen. 

Instead she is hiding behind her spokesperson and Baroness Warsi, who has the audacity to question the meagre allowances paid to our council leader.

I have seen Nash or Councillor Ali grow up in the Regent’s Park ward and he has continued to support the people of Camden. 

Whether it’s evening, weekend or early morning, Nash is always available to help.

We can always count on the support of our local councillors which is far more than we can say for our celebrities gracing our lands for votes and then disappearing through the back door.
