Campaign

• I CONTINUE to admire the dedication Alan Templeton puts into Camden Public Libraries Users’ Group and the defence against library closures.
However, in letters to the New Journal and at public meetings he appears to be levelling the blame for potential library closures at the feet of the council.
Surely much more effective lobbying can be done at central government.
Has Mr Templeton written to the government outlining the group’s concerns? Has he plans to organise a protest in Whitehall?
If so, I would happily put my name to the letter or join a protest and I feel the campaign would be far more likely of a successful outcome!
