New school, please
Published: August 11, 2011
I WRITE on behalf of my grandson Sebastian, who is two years old today, to Councillor Theo Blackwell.
Cllr Blackwell, you said you needed to sell buildings because so many of Camden’s schools were in disrepair and that you needed money to fix them.
Now I am told you are going to build a new office with your own sports centre and swimming pool below.
Well, that’s not very kind to me and many of my friends who don’t have a primary school to go to in Belsize Park, is it?
Why can’t you build a school for us so that when we are five we can walk to school in Belsize Park without having to go on a long bus journey out of our area?
