Food for All – Good food

I WAS moved to read Paul O’Grady of Hare Krishna’s Food for All appealing for help and direction from Camden and Islington councils (Letters, August 18).

It seems Food for All are the last charitable community service in operation feeding the homeless and vulnerable.

Yet the powers that be are forcing them to stop!

What happened to Cameron’s Big Society idea, and isn’t this an already (23 years old) big society in action?

Shame on those attempting to suppress compassionate and humanitarian acts, apparently from a very small-minded viewpoint.
