Pool privacy

• I CANNOT understand the owner of Boris Johnson’s old house in Primrose Hill wanting to spend so much money on a basement cinema and swimming pool (Boris gets cross over plans for his childhood home, April 7).

For that money he could easily rent a cinema or a swimming pool for his private use any time he wanted for many years. He has no need to destroy the environment.
