No waste

• NOW, more than ever, Camden Council has to ensure that any money we spend goes to those services that people most need. 

We have to ensure that money is not wasted or squandered.

 I am proud that the Camden Labour Party has negotiated for senior officer pay at the council to be reduced by 17 per cent. 

I am also proud that we have taken the decision not to sink more and more money into maintaining and repairing inefficient, underused, office blocks. 

Instead, we will sell these old office blocks and consolidate the number of offices we have. 

This will mean that our council tax gets spent on services that people need, not on maintaining council office blocks.
