The last thing!

• AT 4pm on Friday I was in the St Pancras Library and counted 71 customers busy using this valuable facility.
These included 22 children many no doubt from Argyle Primary which is immediately adjacent. Camden wants to demolish this building and relocate the library to a new town hall a half-mile away in a different neighbourhood.
This is an affront to the residents of Marchmont and makes no sense either socially or environmentally. At a time when the council is drastically cutting front-line services the last thing they should be doing is building themselves expensive new accommodation rather than refurbishing a perfectly adequate building.
