Post Office run down?

• IT is very nice to see that Royal Mail are now opening longer and even extending opening hours till 8pm on a Wednesday according to the “Sorry you were out” card, recently left at my door.  

When I went to collect my package on Friday at 11am, myself and roughly 10 others we found the office closed. After an hour’s wait the poor chap on the counter had to explain to us that he was taken out by managers because they couldn’t cope with getting a postman’s round ready to be delivered, because of staff shortages and managers being forced to work in other parts of the area. What has become of the first-class service that we used to receive? 

It’s being run down to be sold off.
