More is less for NHS

• THE Camden and Islington NHS Foundation chief executive Wendy Wallace, is clearly deserving of her 11 per cent rise, and is well worth the £145,000 she earns (Health chief’s big pay rise, September 16).
I have every confidence that Wendy’s astute financial brain will be a great asset in implementing further cuts to beds and services. Our Health Service is clearly safe in such hands!
My only regret is that I won’t be bumping into Wendy in Poundland, anytime soon – presumably!
