A minimum age requirement

Published: 30 September, 2010

• WHAT a convoluted system the Labour party devised  to elect their leader.

The elevated one enjoys his position thanks to the trade unions. Figures show that charismatic David was preferred by members and in the constituencies.

Though a union member myself, I find it very odd indeed.

The minimum age for those aspiring to office should be 55 – maturity matters.

These telegenic types look groomed but are they truly representative of the electorate?
