Boris has taken our bus stop shelter seat away

Published: 9 September, 2010

• WITHOUT consulting the public, Boris Johnson’s men have inflamed local opinion by removing a much-appreciated bus shelter seat from the southernmost shelter on Malden Road across the road from the Fiddler’s Elbow pub.

In Haverstock ward where pork barrel politics flourishes and elections are won on such issues we are wondering if Mr Mayor has lost his touch.

Should the seat have disappeared forever we may be forced to make our own.

We could even invite Ken Livingstone to cut the tape.

In the meantime has anyone got a redundant church pew?
