Veterans’ fight

• CONGRATULATIONS to Dan Carrier for his fantastic article marking the 50th anniversary of the St Pancras rent strike.

It paid tribute to veterans like Edie Cook and her late husband who campaigned for fairer and affordable housing for all.

It’s inspiring to read how these people worked together to create a fairer society.

It’s important that we are reminded of these issues as they are as relevant today as they were 50 years ago.

I am very proud that my parents played their part in this campaign.
