Restaurant should be seen, not heard

• I WAS disappointed to read that Billy Reilly has permission to open the premises that were once Bar Fink as a “restaurant” (Ex-club boss given restaurant go-ahead, October 7). 

Thanks to the efforts of a large number of local residents, we have had one more year without the problems of yet another drink and food venue in these parts.

I hope that the patronage of this venture, other than out of curiosity and by way of checking that the owner is complying with the terms of his licence, is such that we locals are almost unaware of its existence.
