School pupils’ smoking is intolerable

• WE, the residents of Montpelier Grove, have written before about smoking by schoolchildren.

At half-term what joy it was to go into the park, without having to navigate our way through schoolchildren smoking.

Why is this allowed? We do not understand why these children are allowed to smoke openly.

All we want to say, is that as neighbours, we feel it is intolerable that the gardens are out-of-bounds, because we are not prepared to share them with school­children who are smoking.
