Lucrative road traps

• I WAS recently issued with a parking control notice after being caught in one of Islington’s road restriction traps.

While looking on the Tribune website, I noticed the mention of a letter written by David Burr (A trap for motorists? August 6). He referred to CCTV camera 31 at the end of Riversdale Road, which had caught 2,398 drivers.

I believe that the right turn off Harrington Green Road captures even more motorists, so I have now asked Islington Council to confirm this information.

Has the Tribune ever investigated these traps, and the revenue they provide for the council?
