Good old denture days

• IN response to the interesting Leather Lane book (Review, November 4), now in my 70s, I took my first job nearby in the 1950s. I’ll never forget that in the dinner hour at the far end of Leather Lane on the left an old stall selling piled up second-hand oddments, including a tray chocka with used dentures. Turn ’em over and take your pick! Never saw such a thing since.
