Difficulties!

AS an executive member of the Soho Society, I was intrigued to read the letter (November 12) from Pip Granger, whom I have never heard of, but who claims to be a lifetime member of the society. 

If she was active in the society, she may realise that most of what she wrote is just wrong. 

Without pointing out all the mistakes she made in her letter, suffice to say that St Anne’s Church in Soho is currently experiencing mysterious difficulties that did not trouble past rectors.

The real story here is not simply a “falling out”, as Ms Granger so quaintly puts it, between the church and the society, but two years of inexplicable antics on the part of the current incumbent.
