Thanks to all my customers…

• AFTER many years running RJ Welsh Hardware shop in Primrose Hill and at 77 I have decided to put my feet up, take it easy, and retire.
I am truly touched by everyone’s kind words and good wishes for my retirement in the New Journal over the past few weeks.
I would also like to thank all my customers over the years for their loyalty and support and the community for their very generous retirement gift.  I was over­whelmed by the generosity and will buy some furniture for my new home. Particular thanks to co-ordinators of the collection Caroline Cooper, Dr Elizabeth Horder and Ron Holding.
