Much to do - thanks from Labour ward councillors - St Pancras and Somers Town

Published: 20 May, 2010

• WE would like to express our warmest thanks to the residents of St Pancras and Somers Town for the huge vote of confidence to elect us to be ward councillors for the next four years.
There is so much to be done and we will be working for the regeneration of the ward; to deal with residents concerns and to be always there to help, working with tenant and resident associations, community and voluntary organisations and all of you to work towards the end of concerns in the ward and to work for the regeneration of the area.

There will be a Friday advice service at St Pancras Community Centre 10am-11am; and Friday evening services on the first Friday of each month at Somers Town Community Centre, Ossulston Street; second and fourth Fridays at Crowndale Centre, 218 Eversholt Street; third Fridays at Lulworth, Agar Grove estate from 6pm-7pm.
Councillor Samata Khatoon, Camden’s first Bangladeshi woman councillor, will hold two to three advice services each month for women only. We hope to hold report-back meetings annually plus a ward councillors’ newsletter regularly, and the area forums to which all are invited.
