Missing the bee by Mr P

• CAMDEN Council got it wrong again!
They creep around in the early morning when most people are still sleeping to paint over (Letters, May 6) a wonderful piece of art.
My flat overlooks the wall it used to be on. Not once did I or my neighbours complain about it. In fact I’m very upset it’s gone; I became quiet fond of it.
Instead now I have to look at a badly-painted nasty red wall one day, then a wall that has graffiti written all over it the next.
Surely the council know a blank wall makes a great canvas for any graffiti artist. At least when my bumble bee was there no one drew over him because he was a piece of art done by Mr P who is respected in the area.
