Marketing madness?

• THE egomania of the Camden & Islington NHS Foundation Trust is once again in the ascendent according to its board papers for this month which show that it is preparing to spend £35,000 on rebranding itself with a new image of C&I and the strap line “Your partner in wellbeing support”.

Will it still be supplying mental health services and will it still consider itself part of the NHS?
It is hard to work this out.

It certainly will not market them because nobody has any choice where they go and nobody who doesn’t need them or is forced into them wants mental health care.

I have feared for some time that there is a form of madness infecting the corridors of power at the FT.  This seems to be another sign of it. Perhaps there is a treatment available on the NHS, although I expect they would prefer to “go private”.
