• I AM outraged by Councillor Keith Moffitt’s comments about the new council cabinet.
He implies that the cabinet has placed diversity ahead of experience.
Is being a diverse councillor and being a good councillor mutually exclusive?
It’s time Cllr Moffitt started realising that you can simultaneously be a woman, from a BME (black and minority ethnic) community and be a good councillor.
It is deeply offensive to suggest otherwise.
