Thanks for safer streets

I THOUGHT readers would be interested to hear that Liz Wathen and Michelle Thompson, working for Islington Council in the road safety team, have recently won London’s premier road safety award.   

The London Transport Award recognises their excellent work in bringing down the numbers of children killed and seriously injured on Islington’s roads. This work not only has a massive impact on the health and wellbeing of children, but helps make our densely congested roads safer for all.
