Left out!

• YOUR article (Little ‘love’ lost as shops face closure, March 11) on the failure of the council’s campaign – at a cost of over £300,000 I understand – to encourage the use of local, independent shops, does not mention the areas which were not targeted for this campaign.
There was no mention of Queen’s Crescent market in Gospel Oak in any of the glossy literature. Indeed, when French market stalls came to the crescent earlier this year there was no press and very little local publicity.
As a much-neglected ward by the council I suppose we should be grateful that what others see as a failed campaign and a waste of money was not applied to Gospel Oak.
