It’s wrong

• IT’S fantastic that so many people marched in protest of the downgrading of Whittington Hospital,  which must be protected, and
surely 5,000 people cannot be ignored.
In some decisions there is no absolute right and no absolute wrong, with strong arguments either side and grey areas in between.
This is not one of them.
The intervention by the British Medical Association shows that the decision to downgrade Whittington is an absolute wrong and we must therefore fight against it.
I am delighted Frank Dobson and other MPs joined the march.
The support of the BMA will hopefully empower even more people, including doctors, to come out in support of Whittington Hospital and ensure that the A&E and maternity departments are saved.
