How safe?

• HOW safe is a Crown Estate tenancy?
If a Crown property is sold to a social landlord a regulated tenancy becomes a secure tenancy (page 6 of the Crown information booklet).
 A secure tenancy could then be changed (page 7 of the booklet) to a short-hold tenancy then given a limited time to stay, with a month’s notice to quit. An open door to private speculators!
