Green for go, or red for stop with TfL’s efforts

Published: 4 March 2010

• THERE is a set of traffic lights at the junction of Heath Drive and Finchley Road, which were knocked down in a collision last December.

They were roped off with some tape and four orange cones but are still leaning over on their side, on this busiest road in north London.

Of course, there may be a very good reason why they have not been fixed.
Maybe Transport for London does not possess the degree of expertise needed.

Or perhaps they are waiting for a part to come from China... but, where you see the words Transport for London, you also look for the words incompetent and inefficient.
