Essentials

• WHAT  a difference a local post office makes to a community, when it closed in Robert Street, it seemed all that was left were cars speeding along a desolate road, now that the Post Office has reopened in the Londis store the area has come back to life.
A post office, library and school are essential to give a sense of place and community to people.
A loss of any one of these can lead to the slow death of a neighbourhood.
