• THEATRO Technis wishes to express  through your pages its condolence for the passing away of Michael Foot. 
He was a champion  of social justice and human rights, a great supporter of the reunification of Cyprus, who often demonstrated his solidarity with the plight of the Cypriot people.
He was also a great man of letters and literature. Theatro Technis had the privilege to stage a public reading of his dramatic  court case  pamphlet/ play The Trial of Mussolini about 18 months ago.
On behalf of all of us here at Theatro Technis and the Cypriot community as a whole I offer our condolences to his relatives and  friends.
