When will US pay for our big oil clean-up operation?

• WHEN are America and her companies going to pay for the clean-up of Devon and Cornwall resulting from the break-up of the Torrey Canyon in 1967. 

They have always refused, saying that it was a natural disaster. 

The safety value that failed in the Gulf of Mexico was made by Cameron Oil and installed by Haliburton, both wholly-owned American companies.
