Crown take no notice!
Published: 4 June 2010
• THE Crown Estate knew they were going to sell their estates a year ago, and had no intention of taking any notice of their tenants’ opinions and concerns over the selling of their properties.
The consultation period was just a formality and as for their feeble excuse of “the board believes the estates would be more efficiently run by an organisation whose core business is managing this type of housing,” it has taken them a very long time to realise this over 80 years! This tells us one thing about the Crown Estate; they are much more interested in money than people.
