Bad books!

• WE, the committee of the Friends of Heath Library, further to the recent correspondence in your newspaper and the many negative entries in the library “Comments Book” on the matter of the changes to the library, would like to confirm that we object to the reduction in book stock, to the way the new layout has destroyed the quiet area, to the demoralising and inexplicable redeployment of our valued library staff and to the undignified and childish stickers on the walls.
